Targeted Tic Tac Coupon Creates 350% sales lift.

Recently an Outsite Networks client worked with their Tic Tac vendor to create a targeted transaction reward which created a 350% lift in sales. Loyalty members who purchased any size fountain drink or a coffee were given a random reward coupon that offered, Buy 1 Get 1 Free.

Loyalty member sales of Tic Tacs represented just 32% of all Tic Tac sales before the coupon was introduced. During the coupon’s promotion, loyalty sales of Tic Tacs jumped to 72% of all Tic Tac sales. Comparing market baskets from the previous weeks, the quantity sold to loyalty members jumped from 50 units to 300 units.

This example reward shows the power of printed coupons to drive impulse buying and substantially increase sales to loyalty members.
